Present: Janet Weidner, Chair, Joan Malkin, Catherine Thompson, Dan Greenbaum, Andy Goldman Jennifer Christy, Administrative Assistant
Not Present:
Public: Thomas Bena
Meeting Called to Order: 9:08AM
- Chair Weidner alerted all to the filming of the meeting by Mr. Bena.
Review of Town Counsel’s Bylaw changes:
- Chair Weidner summarized Mr. Rappaport’s comments.
- Members discussed the need to articulate a rationale for the 250 sq. ft. rate of increase & decrease.
- Mr. Greenbaum volunteered to document the rationale over the weekend.
Review of January 28, 2013 Joint Board Meeting re Gross Living Area (GLA):
- Chair Weidner reviewed the goals of Monday’s meeting.
- Ms. Malkin stated the goals of Monday’s joint meeting should be:
- The purpose of using Gross Living Area (GLA)
- The identification of which criteria Ms. Bunker, Asst. Assessor, uses and which she does not use in her calculation of GLA.
- The documentation of GLA.
Public Forums & Preparation for Town Meeting:
- Chair Weidner and the subcommittee discussed the possibility of two public forums in the spring, late March and early April.
- Chair Weidner noted the need to work on a handout for the Annual Town Meeting.
- Ms. Thompson noted a valuable process would be for Planning Board members to each practice answering key questions that will most likely be asked at town meeting.

- Dec. 20, 2012 approved with amendments. Moved & seconded. All ayes.
